HydroSCOUT is a field portable test that quantifies water concentration in a variety of matrices, (oil, paint, solvents, liquid waste, soil, inks, etc.). HydroSCOUT can quantify water content in two ranges for Paint, 0 to 15% and 15% to 100%.

It is an easy, inexpensive test that can be run in the field or in a laboratory setting with minimal training required. This method is ideal for accurately determining the true water content in paint during quality control checks. HydroSCOUT has been assigned USEPA SW-846 Draft Method 9001 and ASTM Method D 7358 for Paint.

REAGENTS

15 to 100%
All of the reagents are premeasured and sealed in glass ampules for safe, accurate and consistent results. Results are obtained in 3 minutes.

HydroSCOUT METER (Program G)
The palm sized HydroSCOUT meter is programmed to determine water content in paint over two common ranges. The high range (HS-HPT) covers the range 15 -100% and can determine water content down to 5% wt/wt. The low range option (HS-LPT) provides results from 0-15%. Results are displayed in mg water on a LCD.

The meter is menu driven for ease of use. Both programs auto-calibrate and perform quality control checks to minimize false negatives and ensure accuracy
